Other Samsung devices are included in the list of smartphones that can be used by the US federal government of the, they are the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S9, and Galaxy Note 9.
The above devices have achieved the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) approval that certifies that they can be used for high-sensitive environments, such as the military.
STIG approval ensures the maximum level of security for sensitive military data and improves the security of DoD information systems. Samsung added that Samsung Knox meets STIG requirements when the appropriate APIs are applied to lock down the device.
Samsung received the STIG approval for the entire Galaxy S10 series, including the S10 5G, that for this reason is the first 5G device to be approved for the federal government.
“Samsung Electronics America, Inc., announces that its flagship products continue to obtain federal certification with the recent approval of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, Note9 and Galaxy S9 join the Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note8 in the receiving Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) approval necessary for deployment within the Department of Defense (DoD).” reads the official announcement published by Samsung.

STIG approval could help the diffusions of Samsung devices within the federal workforce in various sectors.
Samsung has worked with standards bodies to achieve this important approval that
